The End Of An Error

So long, farewell, if we’re lucky, we’ll never meet another Bush again (although Bush the First, tends to think Jeb’s future is in the White House as well). As millions of people gather in Washington, DC over the next few days, Bush has packed his backs and seemingly is leaving office with his middle finger waving a big F.U. to the United States.
After two terms, the country is basically in dire straits. Over the past year, we’ve seen the financial markets plummet, gas prices rise, fall and now rising again and millions of people losing their jobs. It’s pretty simple to say that, just because Bush is finally out of the office, Obama will not be a quick fix for the country.
Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Katrina.
Mortgage Crisis.
Unemployment.
Plummeting Stock Market.
Oil Crisis.
Rise in Unemployment.
Osama sitting in a cave with internet access.
Thousands of soldiers killed.
The list can go on forever.
Thank-you, George W. Bush for all that you’ve done for the country.
Most Americans won’t have the luxury of a multi-million dollar home in Texas after they leave a ‘job’, like George Bush will. He’ll still make millions off of speaking engagements & his ‘pension’, while millions of American’s are pinching pennies and collecting unemployment checks. While big banks are spending their financial bailout money, there are families who are stuck in mortgages that they can’t pay and just living life on a prayer and a dollar.
What took Bush two terms to break, will take more than one term for ANY president to fix. Obama is not a band-aid with some neosporin on it and hopefully people will realize that. The weight of the world is now on his shoulders. This next Presidential term, which is already historic beyond proportions, hopefully will get this country back on the right track.
