Happy Birthday, Muhammad Ali!

Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ali, regardless of what you call him, he’s still the greatest! Not only has anyone not been able to touch his athleticism during his boxing reign, but his charisma has not been out done by any other professional boxer either.

I remember watching “When We Were Kings” when I was younger, and I sat there and I don’t think I blinked even once. He has a presence that is so engaging, it’s bound to draw anyone in!

Forget about Jay Z, Ali is the original master of the one-liner.

“I’m so mean, I make medicine sick”.

If you even dream of beating me you’d better wake up and apologize.

It’s not bragging if you can back it up.”

If you haven’t seen “When We Were Kings”, it’s definitely a must see. Below is a clip, and of course the remainder can be found on You Tube.

  • ali was a poineer in his time.
there are people who are trail blazers who set the pace for the rest of us to follow. he is one of those...happy birthday!!
  • Ali was and is the G.O.A.T not only when it comes to sports but as a figure in the American life PERIOD. He was the champion of sound bites, an athlete amongst athletes and simply a figure to be reckoned with.

I can watch 'When We Were Kings' over and over again, however I can't say that for the movie ALI. Will Smith was good but no one can compete with ALI. No one can do ALI like ALI. :)

It's good to see Ali in the Gatorade G commercial. He's still in his fighting stance... G.O.A.T!
  • You're right...he was the ORIGINAL one-liner king!
  • Man I miss the Fugees.
